Second pedestrian killed in Arlington hit-and- run is ID’d
A second victim in an Arlington double fatality has been identified.
William Eugene Odell, 45, was struck in the 2400 block of West Division Street shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. Arlington police are still investigating the hit-and-run, which also killed Tammy Mclain, 40, of Parker County.
Police sought a “person of interest” earlier in the week, but the man turned out not to have been involved.
“Unfortunately, we do not have any new leads,” Arlington police Lt. Christopher Cook said Thursday.
Mclain and Odell were were struck while crossing West Division Street near Bowen Road, police said.
