Arlington police investigating road rage shooting on Texas 360
Police are investigating a possible incident of road rage that ended with a man being shot on Texas 360.
Police responded to a call at 2 p.m. Saturday at the 900 block of N. Watson Road, where a man driving a pickup said he pulled off the highway after realizing he had been shot in the shoulder.
Arlington police Lt. Christopher Cook said the man told officers he was driving east on Interstate 20 onto the Texas 360 northbound ramp when he heard a gunshot, noticed broken glass and felt pain in his shoulder.
He was taken to Medical Center of Arlington for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver said the shooting may have happened because of road rage but did not elaborate, Cook said.
Police said that the driver did not get a good look at the suspect but that the suspect was driving a newer-model GMC pickup with a “flickering headlamp.”
