Man killed in crash on East Division Street in Arlington, police say

A man was killed in a car crash Friday afternoon along East Division Street in Arlington, police said.

Arlington Police were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 4:08 p.m Friday, according to a statement. The man, who was driving a Kia Forte, was attempting to turn out of a gas station and onto the eastbound lanes of East Division Street.

The other driver, in a 2022 Ram F550, was traveling westbound and collided with the side of the Kia, police said.

The driver of the Kia Forte was pronounced deceased at the scene., according to the statement. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify him once next of kin have been notified.
