A major fire in west Arlington damaged several commercial buildings Monday night.

Fire crews responded to the 900 block of West Division Street near the Oasis Motel about 10:30 p.m. after callers reported a grass fire. The size and spread of the blaze prompted officials to request a third alarm, according to Arlington Fire Department social media posts.

Multiple buildings, storage areas and vehicles were damaged. A power pole in the area also caught fire, and utility crews had to be called in.

All the businesses were closed at the time of the fire, and no one was injured, officials said. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
