1 resident killed, 1 injured in Arlington house fire
One person was killed in a house fire in Arlington on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 12.
The Arlington Fire Department responded to the two-alarm fire on Bayonne Court about 4 p.m. and received reports that people were trapped inside the one-story home.
The person who died was found inside the home, and firefighters found another resident outside who was trying to get back inside. That resident was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The person who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
