Officials responded to Bone Daddy’s barbecue restaurant near Interstate 20 at around 4:45 p.m. Friday, according to a statement.

Preliminary investigation found that the driver of the vehicle had parked behind the restaurant after experiencing car trouble, officials said.

While trying to park, the driver mistakenly accelerated and struck the building and an electrical box, according to a statement.
