The owners of the popular One Love Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge in Arlington have announced plans to rebuild after a three-alarm fire ravaged the establishment early Tuesday morning.

Located in the 2300 block of South Cooper Street, the restaurant was engulfed in flames around 3 a.m., prompting a response from Arlington firefighters.

The Arlington Fire Department reported that no one was injured. However, the building suffered extensive damage and is considered a total loss. Fire officials have yet to determine the cause of the fire.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the restaurant owners expressed their gratitude for the community’s support. “We appreciate everyone who has reached out, but we kindly ask for some privacy at this time as we work with the necessary departments on the next steps. Thank you to the community for your ideas and support. We will rebuild.”

One Love Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge has been a staple in Arlington, known for its vibrant atmosphere and authentic Caribbean cuisine. The news of the fire has sparked an outpouring of support from loyal patrons and the local community.
