Texas Rangers’ Taylor Hearn to serve dinner at Arlington shelter this week

Time to step up to the plate.

Texas Rangers pitcher Taylor Hearn will serve dinner Wednesday evening to the residents of Arlington Life Shelter as a holiday community initiative. He will be joined by his fiancée Andrea Hawkins, parents Robby and Debra, sister Robyn, and Texas Rangers teammates and coaches.

The buffet donated by Hurtado’s BBQ, will have pulled pork, smoked chicken, tater tot casserole, brisket beans and a side salad.

The dinner is from 6-7 p.m. at 325 W. Division St in Arlington.
