Arlington standoff ends; police don’t find anyone in apartment after domestic call
A standoff which started after a domestic call and lasted for several hours ended Tuesday morning at an Arlington complex when SWAT members entered an apartment, but they didn’t find anyone inside.
Arlington officers are following up on leads to try and find the suspect.
Arlington police arrived at the complex and they believed a man who was possibly armed was inside of an apartment.
Arlington police responded to the domestic call shortly after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Bluffcreek Lane.
When they arrived, officers met a woman who made the 911 call outside of an apartment. A man involved in the call was believed to be inside, police said.
Arlington police set up a perimeter around the apartment and they repeatedly tried to get the man to surrender. After more than four hours, SWAT members entered the apartment and found it empty.
Police did not release any other details on the disturbance call. No injuries have been reported.
