Arlington police search for hookah store burglars

Arlington police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a couple captured on video breaking into a hookah wholesale store.

The burglary occurred May 13 at Social Smoke at 1200 Avenue H East.

Surveillance video showed a man and woman entering the business, after apparently prying open the door. They are both carrying bags and using flashlights as they walk around the business.

The couple stole at least one hookah, a table and some cash, the release states.

Anyone with information about their identity is asked to call Arlington police Detective Hayden Perdue at 817-459-6487 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS. Crimes Stoppers offers up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
