Arlington police investigating man’s death

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive early Sunday.

Police were called to the 800 block of East Sanford Street about 3:30 a.m. on a shooting call and found the man, who has not been identified, after their arrival, according to police.

Witnesses told detectives at the scene that the man had talked about committing suicide, police said. Investigators are looking into the possibility that the death occurred elsewhere and that the body was moved.
