Need extra cash? Six Flags says it will hire 1,000 workers at this 2-day job fair
Six Flags Over Texas will employ more than 4,000 seasonal workers during the 2018 season, which starts Saturday, Feb. 24.
But the theme park says it still needs to fill 1,000 of those positions. That's where you come in.
If you need a little more folding money, Six Flags wants you to come see them, this Saturday and next, at the park's annual job fair. The fair will be at Six Flags' flagship location in Arlington, on Jan. 13 and 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..
The positions Six Flags is looking to fill are in these areas: food services, games, rides, retail, marketing, guest services, park services, entertainment, security, cash control, sponsorship, photography, parking and toll plaza, and warehouse attendants.
Students, retirees or those seeking a secondary stream of income are encouraged to apply, according to a news release from Six Flags communications manager Sharon Parker.
If you're interested, go to sixflagsjobs.com and complete the online application before showing up to one of the Saturday job fairs.
According to the release, some of the positions Six Flags is looking to fill are eligible to participate in the company's 401k plan, and could receive health benefits based on certain requirements and open enrollment periods.
Six Flags is the world's largest regional theme park company and made about $1.3 billion in revenue last year. It owns and operates 20 parks across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
