Report: Armed men break into Arlington apartment, threaten woman’s baby
A group of armed men broke into an apartment in west Arlington late Sunday, ransacked the residence and threatened a woman’s baby, according to news reports.
A woman told FOX 4 news that the robbers burst into the apartment about 10 p.m., held a gun to her crying 4-month-old daughter’s head and threatened to kill everyone inside. She told the TV station that she tried to hide in a closet with the baby, who was crying loudly.
Then she heard gunfire, she told FOX 4, and believed her boyfriend and brother might be seriously hurt if not killed. The boyfriend was shot in the leg and her brother pistol-whipped, the station reported.
The break-in occurred at The Woodlands apartments on Lynnwood Drive, according to the report.
