Authorities in Carrollton are searching for the ex-boyfriend of a 23-year-old woman from Grand Prairie who they believe was abducted on Tuesday.

The Carrollton Police Department released a photo of the woman, identified as Madai Cazares, and her ex-boyfriend in a Facebook post about midnight on Wednesday.

Police said Cazares was abducted from the 2900 block of Belmeade Drive in Carrollton by her ex-boyfriend, Jose Eduardo Reyes.

At the time of the alleged kidnapping police said Reyes was driving a light blue 2002-2004 Suzuki Aerio or a similar vehicle. Investigators said he is also known to drive a green 1997 Ford F-150 with a temporary Texas tag, 20W1058.

Investigators said Reyes’ last known address is 4201 Pleasant Run Road, Apt. 102, in Irving.

Initial investigation indicates that Cazares recently ended a three-year relationship with Reyes.

A kidnapping warrant has been issued for Reyes and detectives are currently attempting to locate the pair.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts should contact Detective Michael Wall at 972-466-3312 or the non-emergency police line, 972-466-3333.
