Three area lottery winners claim $7 million in scratch-off prizes the past 4 days
An Arlington man who bought a $50 Texas Lottery Platinum scratch-off ticket claimed a $5 million prize on Friday .
Danny Lee Uselton, who requested minimum publicity, claimed the first of three top $5 million prizes available in the game, a news release from the Texas Lottery said. Uselton purchased his winning ticket at Joe’s Fast Lane in Sulphur Springs, making the store eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus just in time for Christmas.

But that was only the start of a lucky holiday season for local scratch-off winners in the area, according to the Lottery Commission. On Tuesday, Kehinde Olanrewaju Akinyode of Grand Prairie and Raymond E. Oxford of Springtown each claimed a $1 million scratch off prize of their own.
Oxford purchased his winning $200 Million Payout ticket at the 6 Pack Express in Arlington and Akinyode purchased a winning Texas Lottery Gold ticket at a Valero convenience store in Grand Prairie. Each of the stores that sold winning tickets are eligible for $10,000 retailer bonuses, according to the news releases.
