Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a robbery suspect who pulled a gun on a convenience store clerk earlier this month.

The suspect waited for all of the customers to leave, went into a convenience store in the 2500 block of Brown Boulevard, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The robbery occurred about 2 a.m. on Aug. 5, police said.

The suspect then left on foot with an unknown amount of cash from the register headed in an unknown direction.

The suspect was wearing a dark colored Chicago Bears hat with a “C” on the front, a long sleeve orange T-shirt, black basketball shorts and white tennis shoes. He is thought to be between 19 and 21 years old, between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds.
