Authorities have identified a man who was fatally wounded during a fight with another man.

Adrian Williams, 28, of Arlington, was pronounced dead at 4:10 p.m. Thursday at Medical City of Arlington, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. Williams suffered gunshot wounds to the right arm and chest, the medical examiner’s office reported.

Officers responded to a shooting call at a residence in the 900 block of Pinion Drive around noon Thursday and found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds lying outside.

Police said they believe that the suspect walked up to the residence to make contact with the victim and that the two ended up in a fight, during which the victim was shot.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The suspect fled after the shooting.

Detectives are still trying to figure out what led to the confrontation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detective Caleb Blank at 817-459-5735. Tipsters can remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
