House destroyed by fire in Arlington early Tuesday morning
A home in Arlington was destroyed by a two-alarm fire early Tuesday morning, according to the Arlington Fire Department.
Firefighters were called about 1:15 a.m. to the 2100 block of Hillridge Court and found heavy fire, said Lt. David Tyler, a department spokesman.
The occupants inside were able to escape safely. Several news reports have said a dog died in the fire, but that is not mentioned in the fire department reports, Tyler said.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation late Tuesday morning. The house is considered a total loss, Tyler said.
