Tarrant County COVID cases drop again from previous week; 3 deaths reported Friday
Tarrant County reported three coronavirus deaths and 214 new cases on Friday.
The latest deaths include an Arlington woman in her 80s, a Fort Worth woman in her 90s, and a Fort Worth woman older than 100. All three had underlying health conditions, according to officials.
Tarrant County has reported a total of 42,511 COVID-19 cases, including 565 deaths and 37,130 recoveries.
The county has changed the city of residence of a man whose death was reported in May. The man in his 70s lived in Keller, not Fort Worth.
Daily COVID cases in the county dropped to an average of 206 a day over the past six days, compared to 245 last week.
