Tarrant County reports 10 COVID deaths in Arlington in past 2 days; TCU adds 87 cases
Tarrant County reported 258 new coronavirus cases and five deaths on Friday.
Four of the five deaths were in Arlington, including men in their 40s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. The other death was a Fort Worth woman in her 50s. All had underlying health conditions, according to officials.
Ten Arlington coronavirus deaths have been reported by the county in the past two days.
TCU reported 87 more COVID-19 cases on Friday, for a total of 447 active cases today. Three of the total cases are among employees, and the rest are students, according to the university’s website.
Tarrant County has reported a total of 41,035 COVID-19 cases, including 537 deaths and an estimated 34,411 recoveries.
Arlington has reported 7,538 coronavirus cases, including 93 deaths and an estimated 6,381 recoveries.
