Johnson County passes 300 coronavirus cases after clarifying Cleburne’s total of 69

Johnson County has passed 300 confirmed coronavirus cases after clarifying totals in Cleburne.

The county’s 310 COVID-19 cases include 69 in Cleburne, 58 in Burleson, 16 in Alvarado and 14 in Keene. The most reported infections, however, have come in unincorporated parts of Johnson County — 125.

Johnson County added 30 confirmed cases Monday, which includes some older cases from Cleburne yet to be reported to the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Of the 310 confirmed COVID-19 cases, at least 199 have recovered. There have been four coronavirus-related deaths in the county, including a resident who died out of state.

The 111 active cases in the county include 49 in rural areas, 25 in Cleburne, 14 in Burleson, six in Keene, five in Alvarado, four in Venus, three in Godley, two in Grandview, and one each in Mansfield, Rio Vista and Joshua.
