Police: ‘Please remember to put pants on.’ Some handling quarantine better than others

Since the coronavirus pandemic shut down much of the country a month ago, most of us have barely left the house.

That means a lot of us have let some of our standard grooming and clothing options fall by the wayside.

Apparently, at least one person has taken that to a new level in Maryland.

The police department in Taneytown, in north central Maryland, asked residents to “Please remember to put pants on before leaving the house to check your mailbox.”

The message gets specific. “You know who you are. This is your final warning.”

The post has been shared almost 5,000 times and has over 700 comments. Most have found it amusing, while others have proudly pointed out that if the culprit is wearing underwear, he’s doing nothing wrong.

Do we know if it’s a man? No, but it’s a good bet.
