Amid coronavirus pandemic a Fort Worth arts organization reaches out to all fans

The Cliburn is reaching out to music lovers who are stuck at home because of the COVID-19 crisis with Facebook watch parties and other online events.

The Cliburn At Home series will continue indefinitely, and will feature performances from competition winners, videos from artists and learning opportunities for children.

There is something planned each day, and the best way to check out what is available is by visiting the Facebook, Instagram and YouTube social media platforms. All of the videos are also on the Cliburn website for viewing later if you miss the watch parties.

This week’s schedule includes a performance by 2009 Gold Medalist Nobuyuki Tsujii at 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2013 Third-Prize Winner Sean Chen, 2 p.m. Saturday.
