Johnson County adds 3 coronavirus cases, including first in Joshua; Burleson tightens rules
Johnson County on Friday confirmed three more coronavirus cases for a total of 20, including an 11th patient in Burleson, the first in Joshua and the fourth case in unincorporated Johnson County.
A patient in Mansfield has recovered. Two residences in Burleson have two patients each and one residence in unincorporated Johnson County has two patients.
Burleson Mayor Ken Shetter issued an amended declaration of local disaster and public health emergency effective at 11:59 p.m. Friday.
The declaration updates his March 25 declaration, including the following:

Churches and houses of worship must, if possible, conduct their activities from home or through remote audio or video services. If churches and houses of worship cannot conduct activities remotely, federal and CDC guidelines must be followed.
Use of city playground structures, basketball courts, or any park amenity or property closed by the city is prohibited.
The city manager may close any playground structures, basketball courts, park amenity, or park property the city deems unsafe for the public.
