Tarrant County confirms 14 new coronavirus cases, bringing total to 71

Tarrant County confirmed 14 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total to 71 across 17 cities, including 24 in Fort Worth.

Three patients have recovered, and one man has died in Arlington. The three recovered patients live in Southlake, Arlington and White Settlement.

Of the 71 cases, 41 patients contracted the virus through travel and 23 contracted it from community spread, including four from known cases. Seven cases are pending investigation.

Tarrant County issued a stay-at-home order effective midnight Tuesday because of the coronavirus.

A shelter-in-place order took effect in Dallas County at midnight Monday.
