Colleyville reports first potential case of coronavirus, closes city facilities

Colleyville is closing city facilities and instructing residents to conduct business with the city online following a possible case of coronavirus, according to a news release.

Tarrant County Public Health has not received any positive test result from the city.

First responders in Colleyville began preparing to handle the COVID-19 outbreak in early February and has enough supplies for handling coronavirus cases to last six months, according to the release.

Colleyville is following an emergency response plan passed by the city, which calls for city services to be handled online, through email and over the phone. Staff will still be at work to handle city business.
