This Fort Worth boutique hotel just hit the real estate market. See the details
Hotel Revel, located in Fort Worth’s ever-growing Near Southside district, is hitting the real estate market.
The four-story hotel, which was designed by Fort Worth-based Ibañez Shaw, opened in 2020 as a boutique offering near the Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center at 1165 8th Ave. The property’s assessed value, according to the listing, is $3,071,250.
The 23-room hotel, which was completed in 2018, was listed for sale in June by Dallas-based CBRE. There is no firm asking price, according to operating partner and Fort Worth developer Trey Neville, who said he hopes the hotel will continue to be a Near Southside mainstay.
“We’ve rolled with all kinds of punches,” Neville said. “The first customers were wearing masks, we went through that, we’ve gone through all these ups and downs … and we’ve still kept our doors open.”
Neville said that the sale wasn’t motivated by a lack of success in the business, and that he is looking mainly to explore potential options.
“I think there’s definitely a need for what I’d call an old school innkeeper,” Neville said. “Somebody that’s invested, and wants to kind of live that lifestyle.”
The hotel previously hosted Sugarman’s cocktail bar, then La Onda, which closed in 2023. Operators are searching for a new food and beverage operator, Neville said.
Neville said that he wants the hotel to stay locally owned, and to continue being part of the Near Southside community.
