500,000-square-foot industrial development coming to south Fort Worth

South Fort Worth may soon see a new industrial development.

Houston and Dallas-based Constellation Real Estate Partners announced that the company has purchased 44 acres of land located at 5933 South Freeway, in the southeast corner of the interchange, for the development of “Constellation Summit 35,” a 492,624-square-foot industrial building.

The development would be “speculative,” meaning that it will be built without a pre-committed tenant.

The building will be roughly 40 feet all, with 296 parking spaces for cars, 194 parking spaces for trailers, and freeway frontage with immediate access to Interstate 35 and Interstate 20, according to a press release about the development.

Scott Ellerman, a partner at Constellation Real Estate, declined to say the full cost of the buildout, but said that the developers do not have a tax agreement with the city.

Ellerman said that residents in the nearby neighborhood of Highland Hill had been approached about the development.

Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and finish in 2027, according to a spokesman for Constellation.
