A Texas-based RV dealer wants to build a $4 million showroom in Weatherford.
Holiday World has other locations in Dallas, Katy, Alvarado, League City, Willis and Las Cruces, New Mexico. According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the company wants to construct a nearly 32,000-square-foot dealership at 3009 E. Bankhead Highway, just south of Interstate 20.
The company expects to begin construction in December and finish in late 2027.
The property is owned by HWH Real Estate Holding Co LLC, whose director is Michael Peay, founder of Holiday World.
Peay started the business in 1996 in Houston by purchasing two car dealerships. He later purchased 57 acres in Katy to build what has been the longstanding headquarters of the business.
