Fort Worth is getting its first Nordstrom Rack this fall. Here are the details

Fort Worth is getting a Nordstrom Rack, the outlet store that carries discounted luxury brands of clothing, accessories, beauty products, jewelry and home goods.

The store is going into an empty storefront in southwest Fort Worth, according to a filing Wednesday with the state.

The space is in the Overton Park Plaza shopping center along Interstate 20 and Hulen Road, next to Sprouts Farmers Market where there used to be a Picture People photography studio. Other nearby retailers in the plaza include HomeGoods and Dicks Sporting Goods.

A $630,000 remodel of the nearly 30,000-square-foot space is expected to be completed by late October.

The only other Nordstrom Rack locations in Tarrant County are in Southlake and Arlington.

The closest Nordstrom to Fort Worth was at Northeast Mall in Hurst. It closed in 2020.
