Peppa Pig theme park’s 2nd US location in this Fort Worth suburb sets opening date
North Texas’ Peppa Pig theme park will open March 1, owner Merlin Entertainments announced.
The park, at 8851 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills, will have five rides, shows, playscapes and interactive attractions based on the popular “Peppa Pig” children’s show.
Tickets will be available starting on Nov. 12, and customers must subscribe to the theme park’s newsletter to access the presale. General admission tickets will go on sale Nov. 19. Tickets start at $27.99, with annual passes available for $99.99.
The park will be the second Peppa Pig theme park in the country, and the fourth in the world. The park’s operator, Merlin Brands, also runs Legoland theme parks across the globe.
First aired in 2004, the British children’s show has become a global phenomenon. Hasbro purchased Peppa Pig owner, Entertainment One, for roughly $4 billion in 2019. Peppa Pig brand sales were roughly $1.7 billion in 2022.
The animated series follows the adventures of Peppa, her brother George and their many friends, including Suzy Sheep, Rebecca Rabbit, Danny Dog and Freddy Fox.
