2 new Chick-fil-A restaurants could be coming soon to these neighborhoods in Fort Worth

Two new Chick-fil-A restaurants could be coming to Fort Worth.

Preliminary permits for potential Chick-fil-A locations with drive-thrus were recently filed with the city.

The restaurant locations would be located at 1700 Eastchase Parkway, which is just south of Interstate 30, and near the intersection of Avondale-Haslet Road and U.S. 287. Both sites are almost 1.9 acres of vacant land surrounded by retail development.

If built, both Chick-fil-A restaurants could face steep competition from the sheer number of existing fast-food establishments in the area.

Wendy’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, Whataburger, Taco Bell, Schlotsky’s and Chicken Express are also located on Eastchase Parkway. McDonald’s, Whataburger, Sonic, Panda Express, Chipotle, Subway and Taco Bell are open near the intersection of Avondale-Haslet Road and Highway 287.

Chick-fil-A has over 40 locations in the Metroplex. The company is one of the most profitable fast food chains in the U.S. Chick-fil-A’s sales were an estimated $21.6 billion in 2023 alone. Average annual sales for a single restaurant are about $9.4 million, over double the annual sales of an average McDonald’s location.
