2 restaurants opening at Westlake’s Entrada. ‘It’s taken forever to get it going’

Two upscale restaurants are opening in Westlake’s Entrada development this summer.

Hugo’s Invitados and The Copa Club are coming to Entrada, the 85-acre canal-lined development modeled after a Catalonian village in Spain.

John Sasser, a spokesperson for the city, said the Copa Club will open in early summer and Hugo’s Invitados plans to open in late summer.

“This is huge not only for Westlake but also for Entrada. It’s taken forever to get it going,” Sasser said.

The restaurants are likely bring diners from Southlake, Keller and Fort Worth.

The development at Davis Boulevard and Texas 114 has been in the works for 10 years but was slowed by construction on Texas 114 and the pandemic.

“People who live in Entrada are finally going to get what they’ve been waiting for,” Sasser said. “It’s been so long. A lot of people had the feeling we’ll believe it when we see it.”

The private Copa Club features a walk-in humidor, wine cellar and rooms catering to sports fans.

Hugo’s Invitados, with a location at 5240 N. O’Connor Blvd. in Irving, features organic Mexican cuisine and agave bar.

Westlake is a hub for financial companies including Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments, and is home to Deloitte University, a training facility for the accounting firm.
