RadioShack Corp. plans to close hundreds of stores in the next few weeks as part of its bankruptcy reorganization, including its concept store in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square.
The Fort Worth-based retailer revealed its list of potential store closing which includes 44 stores in the Metroplex. There are a total of 143 Texas stores slated for closure on the list.
The list suggests that the stores will be closed in three waves. The initial wave of store closures will shut down 162 stores nationwide and none in Tarrant County. However, the second wave, has 31 stores in the Metroplex being closed.
