Another North Texas H-E-B is opening this summer. Here’s the date
Get ready, shoppers: the Irving H-E-B now has an opening date.
The Texas grocer announced Monday the new Irving location will open soon, on Wednesday, June 17 at 6 a.m. at 2351 W. Interstate Highway 635.
“H-E-B is excited to build on the company’s longstanding presence in the area and continue its expansion across North Texas,” a statement from the company read.
The company also opened its Joe V’s Smart Shop in Irving in November. The 58,000-square-foot store is part of the H-E-B family of brands, but offers lower priced items according to the company.
In April, the grocer held a job fair for the Irving store. The store is also near shoppers in the Coppell, Grapevine and West Dallas area, according to the grocer.

H-E-B recently opened its Mid-cities location on May 20 in Euless, near Bedford and Colleyville.
H-E-B has expanded into the Metroplex, by opening stores in Allen, Frisco, Fort Worth’s Alliance, Mansfield, Prosper and Melissa. Dallas is getting its first H-E-B, too.
Last summer, H-E-B announced it is building a second Fort Worth location, after Alliance, in the Walsh development off Interstate 20 just west of the Parker County line.
H-E-B, with headquarters in San Antonio, operates more than 455 stores in Texas and Mexico and employs more than 175,000 people.
