Overview
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe midsize off-road SUV is the plug-in hybrid variant of America's most recognizable off-roader, and its powertrain is unique in this class. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, a 17.3-kWh battery pack, and dual electric motors that put out a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Naturally, 4-wheel drive and every trail-rated credential that made the Wrangler famous are standard, but with PHEV versatility and 22 miles of electric range included. With seven trim levels, a removable roof and doors, and multiple top configurations on offer, the remarkably broad 4xe lineup is the only one in this segment that caters to outdoor enthusiasts who want a hardcore off-roader with plug-in ability.
What's New for 2025
The entire 2025 Wrangler 4xe range is finally equipped with power door locks and power windows this year. Active Cabin Ventilation, which allows customers to pre-ventilate the interior via a mobile app, is now available. There's also a new paint color called '41, which is military olive drab-inspired. There are two new special edition trims: the Willys '41 (above) and the Backcountry (below), the latter limited to 5,800 units. This is also the Wrangler 4xe's last model year.
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's price starts at $50,795.
