England company to open U.S. distribution center in Fort Worth

NiteSite, a York, England-based company that designs and manufactures night vision products, will open up a U.S. distribution center in east Fort Worth in late July.

NiteSite has leased 3,000 square feet at 2574 Gravel Drive. It will open July 29 with four employees.

The facility will serve as NiteSite's U.S. distribution center for night vision rifle scopes, which are made in the United Kingdom.

“Establishing a presence in Fort Worth was an easy decision for us,” said Kenney Richardson, NiteSite sales and marketing director, in a statement. “In addition to the deep-rooted hunting culture, Fort Worth offers unparalleled, value-added amenities, including favorable tax and legislative environments, low cost-of-living, high quality of life and ample distribution avenues and opportunities that will help drive our continued growth in the U.S.”

The company was founded in 2011.

David Berzina, executive vice president of economic development for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, said, “NiteSite is a great example of an entrepreneurial venture that, through innovative technology, has become a leader in designing and manufacturing products that enhance the precision and experience for hunting enthusiasts. Fort Worth embraces and fosters the entrepreneurial spirit and, with our unmatched distribution channels, we can help companies like NiteSite continue to thrive within their industries.”
