Walmart Supercenter in northeast Tarrant County will get $1M remodel across entire store

Walmart is about to begin a $1 million renovation of a store in northern Tarrant County.

The Walmart Supercenter at 1601 W. State Highway 114 will be remodeled throughout the entire store, according to a business filing with the state.

The store was built in 2003, tax records show. There used to be a Sam’s Club next door to the Walmart, but it was heavily damaged by a tornado in December and the company decided to close it permanently.

Records show Walmart will begin the remodeling of the Grapevine store in mid-November and wrap it up in March.
