A new Scooter’s Coffee is open northeast of Fort Worth and is giving away free drinks

Scooter’s Coffee is giving away free drinks on Friday at its newest drive-thru location in Watauga, serving the area around North Richland Hills and northeast Fort Worth

The franchise, which is at 5955 Rufe Snow Drive just south of Watauga Road and Mid Cities Boulevard.

Customers who pay with Scooter’s Coffee mobile app can get a free drink on Friday, the company said.

Its signature drink is the Caramelicious, and the menu features specialty espresso beverages, single-origin coffee, fruit smoothies, Red Bull Infusions, cold brew, pastries and breakfast options.

Scooter’s Coffee, which started in Nebraska 25 years ago, has more than 500 locations in 27 states and commitments to build new stores in 30 states.

In 2022, Scooter’s opened in a former car wash in Lake Worth, and in November opened a Cleburne store. It also has stores in Keller, Colleyville and Grapevine, as well as several locations on the northeast side of the Metroplex.

The Watauga store’s owners are Letitia D. Chukwumah, Obi I. Chukwumah and Fred Musindi.
