A new, 5-story hotel is coming to Rosedale Street in Fort Worth’s Medical District
A new hotel is coming to Fort Worth near the Medical District.
A five-story Cambria Hotels location is proposed for 2120 W. Rosedale St. on vacant land about a block east of a Hilton Garden Inn and a Homewood Suites by Hilton. The new hotel will be the Choice Hotels brand’s first property in Fort Worth. There are three other Cambria locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, in Southlake, Plano and Richardson.
Similar to other Cambria Hotels, the new Fort Worth location will feature an on-site restaurant and bar, meeting and event rooms, free Wi-Fi in rooms, Bluetooth mirrors in bathrooms and a fitness center, according to a commercial building permit. It is unclear whether the new location will feature a pool like some other Cambria properties.
This is only the latest addition to Fort Worth’s thriving hotel and hospitality scene and will add more hotel rooms just minutes from downtown and the Fort Worth Convention Center. Luxury hotels the Crescent Fort Worth, Le Méredien, Bowie House Hotel and the Sandman Signature Hotel are also upcoming or under construction across the city.
Cambria Hotels has five locations across Texas with two more planned in Austin and Waco.
There are over 60 independently owned and operated Cambria Hotels locations across the country. Choice Hotels has more than 7,000 hotels nationwide.
