Outdoor enthusiasts will be able to shop for coolers and tumblers for their wilderness adventures at the first YETI store in Tarrant County.

The Austin-based company is set to open its newest location at 211 Grand Ave. in Southlake Town Square. A spokesperson for Kite Realty Group, owners of the shopping center, said Oct. 13 is the tentative opening date they’ve been given from the YETI corporate office.

According to the company website, YETI has 11 stores nationwide, including two in Austin and one in Dallas. YETI products can also be purchased from retailers like Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The YETI brand is known for durable, insulated coolers and stainless steel tumblers, but it also sells backpacks, duffel bags, T-shirts and beanies. Animal lovers can even buy YETI dog bowls and beds for their four-legged friends.

The company has been building its signature coolers since 2006 and according to YETI’s Twitter account, they “make gear that helps you stay out longer, travel farther and live harder.”
