Chicken N Pickle breaks ground for second North Texas location, opening later this year
Chicken N Pickle, a Kansas City-founded indoor/outdoor restaurant and sports bar with pickleball courts and yard games, is adding another North Texas location.
The restaurant will bring locally-sourced, responsibly raised, antbiotic- and hormone-free chicken to Grapevine’s Delaney Vinyard, about 8 miles west of DFW Airport, according to a news release from the city and restaurant. It’ll be the second location in the metroplex, with one already up and running in Grand Prairie.
The restaurant said its main dining area will be big enough for corporate and social events and it will also have a rooftop dining option. It’ll have bars, shuffleboard, Bocce ball (also known as lawn bowling) courts, pickleball courts and lawn games and will offer wood-fired chicken, pork and beef sandwiches, salads and more.
The restaurant chain, which broke ground for its upcoming location Wednesday, expects to have its Grapevine location up and running later this year, possibly in December, a spokesperson said.
The Chicken N Pickle in Grand Prairie has a total of 11 pickleball courts, with six indoors and five outdoors.
