This new store is moving into the old DressBarn space in north Fort Worth
Last year when DressBarn’s parent company announced it would be closing all its stores, Bath & Body Works saw only openings.
Or at least a new Bath & Body Works saw an opening in Alliance.
According to a permit filed with the city, a new Bath & Body Works store is moving into Alliance Town Center at 9530 Sage Meadow Trail that was previously occupied by a DressBarn. The permit was filed late January.
In spring of last year, Ascena Retail Group announced that it was shuttering all 650 of its DressBarn stores nationwide. At the same time, Bath & Body Works announced a plan to renovate and restructure its own stores. Parent company L Brands said it planned to close 24 of its stores, renovate 175 and add 46 to its portfolio.
No word yet on when this new Bath & Body Works in Alliance will open.
