Taco Cabana will close 19 of its restaurants, including 2 in Tarrant County
Taco Cabana is downsizing.
The restaurant’s parent company Fiesta Restaurant Group announced Monday that it would be closing 19 Taco Cabana restaurants “effective immediately.” Included in the closures are the restaurants on Precinct Line Road in Hurst and Rufe Snow in North Richland Hills.
Fiesta said in its announcement that the move was part of the company’s overall strategy to improve sales in all its restaurants. The stores slated for closure are the ones with significant losses.
In addition to the two in Tarrant County, six other Taco Cabana locations are closed, including ones in Allen, Dallas, Denton, Greenville and two in Frisco.
