The website 24/7wallst.com used a number of factors to determine America’s worst cities to live in.

Variables on deciding where to live included crime rates, employment growth, access to restaurants and attractions, educational attainment and housing affordability.

Some of the cities on the list may surprise you; many won’t. For a deeper dive, Texas had one city in the top 50 worst list.
