For a lot of 4-year-old boys, the main draw of an NBA game is, of course, the game.

But, for Jace Lee, a North Texas boy who is deaf, the experience was all about hearing live music for the first time. He was immediately taken with the Dallas Mavericks' in-house drumline, reports CBS DFW.

Jace's mother, Brenda Lee, originally posted the video on Reddit, and it quickly gained popularity.

"You know, people do take certain things for granted. You don't think about it. You wake up and you hear stuff. It's not the same way for him," Brenda Lee told CBS DFW.

Jace lost his hearing when he was young, but thanks to a cochlear implant, he is beginning to hear snippets of loud sounds, his mother said. It not only was it his first time hearing drums, but one of his first experiences hearing anything, CBS DFW reports.

"He tapped on his processor and he signed, 'Where, where is the sound?' " Brenda Lee told CBS DFW.
