On Saturday, April 14, 2018 at half past six o’clock in the evening, Hollis Ferree Kent of Fort Worth and Joseph William Webb III of San Antonio were united in marriage. The ceremony was performed at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Fort Worth and The Reverend Christopher Jambor and The Reverend William Nix officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. Following the ceremony the bride’s parents hosted a reception to honor the couple at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. On Friday evening of the wedding weekend a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Fort Worth Boat Club on Eagle Mountain Lake. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Allen Kent of Fort Worth. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ann Kent and the late Mr. Randall Kent and Mr. Edwin Ferree and the late Mrs. Henrietta Ferree, all of Fort Worth. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Webb II of San Antonio. He is the grandson of Mrs. Rita Miller and the late Mr. Jack Miller of San Antonio and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Webb, Sr. of Philadelphia. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Charlotte Payne. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Barajas, Caitlin Bauer, Carter Goree, Cara Lemaster, Erin McDonald, Maggie Pinkerton, Emily Pence and Rachel Schmid. Serving as best man was the groom’s father, Joseph Webb. Groomsmen were T.J. Ladusky, Gerrit Bennis, Justus Danna, Robert Griffith, West Neinast, Donovan Kypke and Blake Rogers. Ushers included Josh Berry, Chip Kent, Chris Kent, Michael Kent, Tanner Neidhardt, Kiel Kirkpatrick, and Danny Webb. The bride’s niece and nephews, Charlotte, Sanders, August and Henry Kent were flower girl and ring bearers. Readings were given by the bride’s cousins Grace and Jade Kent. The groom’s nieces, Stella and Gloria Webb assisted with the programs. The bride graduated from Texas Tech University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She recently received her Master’s Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is employed by All Saints’ Episcopal School, her alma mater, as a preschool teacher in the Early Childhood Program. The groom graduated from Texas State University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is employed by Tarrant Regional Water District as a Geospatial Services Analyst. The couple resides in Fort Worth and will enjoy a summer honeymoon to Iceland.
