We invited Fort Worth foodies to an exclusive Star-Telegram event. Take a look
By Fort Worth Star-Telegram
About 50 people celebrated a night of good food and foodie fellowship Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s first Eats Beat dining out event with food columnist Bud Kennedy.
The Star-Telegram partnered with Quince Riverside, which hosted the gathering in its private Westbend dining room and served an elegant four-course meal for $60 per person. The event was offered exclusively to Star-Telegram subscribers. The menu included: - Mexico city chicken tortilla soup. - Aji pepper risotto with braised sirloin. - Panko-crusted seabass with savory ancho pepper sauce. - A choice of baklava cheesecake or flourless chocolate cake.
Those in attendance heard from restaurant co-owner Deb Sneed and her daughter Emma Sneed, and Steve Coffman, president and editor of the Star-Telegram. Bud Kennedy spoke about the restaurant scene in the Fort Worth area and took questions from those who attended.
Here is a collection of photos from the event:
