This chef’s new Fort Worth hotel restaurant will have pies and silver-dollar biscuits
Hey, Bud! What kind of restaurant will be in that hotel behind the CVS?

We know more about Bricks and Horses, the restaurant in the Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection, 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. near Dickies Arena.
Chef Antonio Votta, a California resort chef lately of the Cowboy Prime kitchen, will serve Texas steaks and chops with a more casual menu at breakfast and lunch.
Of note: Votta will offer house-made breads, a “pie cart” of fruit and meringue pies (chocolate mud pie, too) and silver-dollar biscuits at breakfast with lemon-blackberry jam.
“I would come to the restaurant for the mud pie,” he said.

Musume, the nice Asian restaurant in the new Sandman Hotel downtown, is serving a $35 turkey dinner with its own touch.
The stuffing is Japanese milk bread. The relish is fresh-made ginger/cranberry, and dessert is black-sesame pumpkin pie with miso caramel.
