Yes, Texas’ No. 1-rated BBQ restaurant is opening a new rib stand in south Fort Worth

No. 1-rated Goldee’s Barbecue will open a new rib restaurant, Ribbees Smokehouse, in south Fort Worth, Goldee’s announced Sunday on Facebook.

“Hey everyone, we have some exciting news to share!” the restaurant posted on Facebook with a photo of Ribbees, opening in a former Sonic Drive-In at 923 E. Seminary Drive east of Interstate 35W.

The post described Ribbees as a “fantastic new restaurant that we can’t wait to bring to you,” with photos of a take-out rib plate with mac-and-cheese and crinkle-cut french fries.

Goldee’s partners Lane Milne and Jonny White confirmed the new rib stand.
